The Techo Global Air Terminal is Cambodia’s newest and largest airport project, slated to open in mid-2025. Developed by Cambodia Airport Investment Co., Ltd (CAIC), this ambitious project marks a significant step forward in Cambodia’s infrastructure development. Located 19 kilometers from Phnom Penh, in Kandal Stung District, Kandal Province, the airport spans 2,700 hectares and is designed to meet global standards. The Techo Global Air terminal opened its building site in mid-2020 on an area of 2,700 hectares, situated in Kandal Stung Locale, Kandal Territory, around 19 kilometers from Phnom Penh. The new air terminal is in the F4 classification, which is being created in three stages. The primary stage will cost a sum of $ 1.5 billion, excluding the air terminal region.
